Consultant should be typically familiar with a variety of architecture concept, methodologies, practices and procedure and rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and are able to perform a variety of complicated task with minimal or no direct supervision. Defines system and application architecture and provide vision, problem anticipate and address gaps. Consult with client to define need or problem, conduct research, perform studies and surveys to obtain data and analyze problem to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles or technology of specific discipline or filed of specialization. The consultant may work closely with other senior consultants and developers. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to and/or receive strategic directions from an executive or a manager. All roles specified in consultant plus the following- Provide strategic consultation direction to management. Provides measurable intellectual capital in developing solutions and solving problems. Experience developing architectural components to functional, technical and industry standards. Coordinate work with other IT professionals on system development teams. Generally aware of new developments in industry and process and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate. Proficient in more than one IT architectural discipline defined as information technology, computer programming, computer security, computer system analysis, database management, information systems, internet applications and development, software development and related fields. Mentor and coach peers and developers. Provide knowledge transfer to peers and developers. Relevant work experience 10 to 15 years.
