The Project Manager has the overall responsibility of coordinating and executing NJHIN interoperability projects which leverage cloud technology. Individuals in this position must have demonstrated experience in leading moderate to large sized project teams including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. They must be experienced with the application of Project Management techniques and principles. The Project Manager will ensure that project artifacts are developed and approved in a timely manner and that all Department of Health Project Management Office (PMO) processes and documentation are followed. The Project Manager will ensure that success metrics are developed for all projects and measured in order to determine project success. Responsibilities include preparing Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and/or other presentation formats to communicate project status to IT staff and internal/external partners. Individuals will be responsible to conduct group meetings designed to ensure projects adhere to best practices and standards and operational efficiency. The Project Manager may assist in coordinating testing and training staff as needed. The ability to anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team members. Individuals will determine time estimates and schedule for own work, coordinate activities of others, manage budgets, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
