We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a PowerBuilder, Expert Support ongoing maintenance and BPR integration requirements for the CIS and EClaims applications. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Gather business requirements Document requirements and solutions Write technical specifications Code, test, and implement software modules Review code and test results of other programmers Create physical database worktables and temporary tables and indexes Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions and issues). Small Changes requested from the Business Users. Mandatory Qualifications: Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code. 12 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code using Version 10.5. 60 months experience with government projects that followed a Project Management methodology. 36 months experience with Sybase databases. This includes designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL. 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents. 12 months experience with name search software.
