We have a 24-month project with our client in Brooklyn, NY that requires a Database Architect, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Perform complex analysis of data emanating from the SESIS application Establish and maintain traceability between data points emanating from the field, test cases and requirements/design documents Generate test data Review the requirements and designs and ensure their correctness, accuracy, clarity, and completeness by actively engaging Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, and Developers Create and maintain configuration notes for the testing environments Guide team members with data normalization processes. Provide technical consultation to team members grounded in the understanding of MS SQL/Server capabilities, shortcoming, and applicability Guide data mapping efforts between SESIS and other existing data sources Document and implement test strategies, plans, processes, and standards Verify the systems conformance to defined user stories, functional requirements. Define the scope and schedule of User Acceptance test phases. Identify and confirm participants. Reserve resources for conducting sessions Perform non?functional testing resulting in usability data Prepare material for and guide user acceptance test sessions Investigate test outcome and raise requirements ambiguities and defects using established processes. Prioritize system defect fixes and enhancements. Assist business analysts to clarify requirements ambiguities; Raise and monitor requirements ambiguities Elicit subject matter expert expectations on the behavior of the system Utilize Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint for documenting all outcomes, for reporting progress to management, and for collaborating with team members Utilize HPQC for raising and prioritizing defects Mandatory Qualifications: Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems. 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience performing data analytics, conceptual and relational data modeling, data integrity and testing activities in a highly complex data project 84 months working with Microsoft SQL Server/databases and PL/SQL in tables, user functions, views, indexes including writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures 84 months experience using data modeling tools including SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS as well as creating and maintaining data dictionary and data mapping of one or more systems 84 months experience interacting with High-Level Executives and Senior Management as well as working with stakeholders to define and develop business processes and procedures and system requirements 84 months experience with technical writing required, including experience writing Business Requirements Documents and Use Case/User Story development 84 months experience documenting, implementing test strategies, plans, and scripts as well as executing unit, system integration and functional testing 84 months experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include various technologies, test documentation and procedures 84 months working with Microsoft Suite including Excel, VBA, Power Pivot, Power Query, Power Bi   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
