We have a 30-month project with our client in Jamaica, NY that requires a Software QA Engineer, Mid-level Candidate will perform quality control preparation and execution for a variety of web development projects and system application support. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Manual QA: Solicit and review QA requirements Write and maintain test scripts Perform testing Report and track defects Provide work logs and status reports to reporting manager QA Automation: Maintain technical environment and processes to support automated testing Write and maintain automated test scripts Execute automated testing Report and track defects Collaborate with Development Team to advance automation efforts Mandatory Qualifications: Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. 36-60 months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree 48 months experience working in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) environment. 48 months experience reviewing, soliciting, and clarifying requirements from business representatives and project team members. 48 months experience writing, maintaining, and executing manual test scripts across browsers, devices, and operating systems 36 months experience creating, managing, and maintaining test plans and defect reporting processes in HP ALM 36 months experience writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using VBScript in HP ALM 36 months experience writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver 36 months Selenium WebDriver experience using Java scripting language 6 months experience testing Drupal/PHP web and mobile development that integrates with VTLS Virtua Integrated Library System (ILS) 6 months experience testing Drupal/PHP web and mobile development that integrates with Remedy IT Service Management System 6 months experience testing Kronos Workforce Central Timekeeper System that integrates with SAP 6 months experience working in a Public Library Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifications to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
