We have a 24-month project with our client in Menands, NY that requires a Database Architect, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Assist with design and coding from requirements and functional specifications. Architect, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Oracle Database that connects with Java web service soap/REST and similar technologies. Work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code or web services used by the application. Produce technical and user documentation as requested. Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support. Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs. Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Mandatory Qualifications: Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems. 84+ months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating stored procedures, packages, triggers, and other objects. 84 Months Experience as an Oracle 10g/11g/12c database administrator, including installation, and configuration 24 Months Experience with HL7 60 Months Architecture, communicating the design with UML and/or ERD, design patterns and Design Documents. 24 Months Experience working with Version control such as GIT and Helpdesk system, ITSM, RedMine, and TFS 24 months Experience with ensuring HIPAA Guidelines are Met and followed. 72 Months experience managing the software development lifecycle of a team. This must include managing development, testing, documenting continuous integration, and deployments. 84 Months experience using TOAD and/or SQL developer.
