Job Description Administrator: SQL DBA, Performance Monitoring, Data Loads, TroubleShooting Skills Backup And Recove

Responsibilities

Are you a tech & IT geek? We have a 24-month project with our client in New York, NY that requires a SQL DBA, Expert

Guides consultants and their projects

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Setup, configure, and install database systems.
Optimizes and tunes database systems.
Pro-actively monitors performance and capacity.
Performs data ports and data loads; monitors and tests data integrity as required. Backup, recovery, testing of recovery procedures, and archiving databases.
Troubleshoots database issues and performs database impact analysis for proposed changes.
Ensures that systems stay updated on all relevant patches and upgrades. Alter tables and schema structure as required.
Serve as technical expert for database design and support issues.
Executes database release management processes and coordinates maintenance of development, testing, and production environments.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Uses specialized software to store and organize data, which may include capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security and troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.
84 Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Preferred Qualifications:

84 Months of database administration experience.
84 months of MS-SQL Server experience, including the loading of data using ETL tools like SSIS
84 months of Systems/software support experience
84 months of supporting MS-SQL in a production Relativity environment
84 months of supporting MS-SQL in a production MS-SharePoint environment
84 months of supporting MS-SQL in a production Wolters Kluwer Teammate environment

Languages
Must have

English
Native or bilingual proficiency

Additional vendor information

Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifications to qualify for the position.
