We have a project with our client in NYC, NY that requires a Senior Technical Architect Will function as Senior Technical lead Architect to assist ACS OIT staff in the delivery of enhancements to Data Warehouse for the Analytical Data Mart project. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Serve as a Senior Technical Architect to provide guidance to other technical staff Serve as prototype designer for the initiative within NYC ACS. Analyze the workflow systems to identify opportunities for improvement through automation. Lead in the research, analysis, and development of project plans, workflows, business rules, and policies to enhance internal operations. Lead the requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders to identify comprehensive data needs. Develop gap analyses documents to report on the gap between the existing data repository, ACSInfo, and stakeholder needs across multiple ACS units. Lead in the discovery of data available from other city agencies (e.g. such as Human Resources Administration, Department of Homeless Services, Department of Education) and requirements for matching by a common client index to provide a full profile of case and child data. Define geocoding requirements for historical and new addresses. Document the data warehouse with components to include a Data Dictionary, Functional Detail Design and Data Mapping. Work closely with ACS Relationship Managers, Project Managers, Managers and other team members, and stakeholders to achieve desired results. Prepare business requirements documentation and functional requirements documentation, as well as high-level design documentation utilizing the Blueprint Storyteller as a SAFe practitioner. Analyze and document data flows and screen mockups (using Axure RP Pro) and screen flows, processes using (Visio), Analyze and document requirements for reporting needs to be presented by Tableau for data visualization. Define reporting needs at the child level, case level, ACS division level. MUST Architect, design, develop, and test ODI ELT/ETL from sources in creation and enhancement of data warehouse and marts. Create run time schedules and scripts Create and implement unit test plans and results. Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation in existing ETL packages, mapping and workflows in production Performance tune the ETL process and recommend and implement ETL tuning techniques Create and modify Technical Documentation Create End User Documentation (reference guides) Advantage in being able to Design, develop and test complex Tableau/BI Publisher reports. Must have strong data warehousing and business analytics experience. Mandatory Qualifications: Must have 5 years of experience in business requirement gathering, project management, testing, creating workflows for systems, preparing user and functional requirements specifications utilizing requirements management systems (Jira or Blueprint) Must have at least 4 years of demonstrated practice using MS Visio for flowcharting. Demonstrated experience in analyzing, disseminating and interpreting policies and procedures.
