The position requires subject matter expertise in Pharmacovigilance Safety Case Processing, Safety Reporting, Risk Management and Signal Detection processes and technologies. They interact with Corporate IT on the day-to-day support of systems, while also focusing on improving operational support. The role requires excellent technical analysis and management skills. The Consultant partners with Safety personnel in understanding business challenges and proposes solutions and provides leadership on support. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for ensuring day-to-day Run operational support for Global Patient Safety systems meets business expectations and compliance requirements. Support the maintenance of existing GPS systems. Maintains the validated state of GPS GxP systems. Daily cooperation with outsourced Managed Service technical support vendors Works collaboratively with Corporate IT in the management of enterprise systems, the development and adherence to standards and governance, enterprise architecture, Service Management Framework and common infrastructure Direct experience in technologies for safety case processing, safety reporting, safety repositories and signal detection. Understands PV and RM business domain and/or technology very well and can present technology solutions. i.e. E2B, sFTP Functions as technical point of contact for Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Strong problem solving, technical writing and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities & projects with a sense of urgency Deep Technical Experience with OSI Model “7 layers” Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance Good understanding of quality processes i.e. SSN, CAPA and inspection findings Experience in application maintenance and support engagements performing system administration and technical administration activities Experience on core ITIL processes Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables Complex Project Management experience Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient.
