They will lead portions of the Design Phase project and also provide direction to other team members (7 person team). Focus will be discovery of the clients environment, risk analysis, detailed migration planning, and migration execution management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads Leads/ participates in the discovery and analysis of clients current IT assets and operations - Leads teams or participates directly to create the detailed migration plan . - Solves complex technical and business issues in regards to data center, IT and operations, specifically related to data center consolidation. - Ability to translate business requirements into technology requirements - Project management skills including work planning, estimating, meeting facilitation and issue resolution - Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Project - Experience dealing with large quantities of data from disparate sources, working through normalization of that data, and ensuring consistency and accuracy (this role will supervise resources performing the task) - Understanding of process and quality management - Ability to conduct detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments REQUIRED: IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND APPLICATIONS: At least 3 projects and at least 5 years of experience in one of these areas: - Data Center Migration/Consolidation - Data Center Strategy - Data Center Management/Operations - IT Service Management and/or ITIL - Networking/Data Communications - Experience with data center operations, migration, move and/or consolidation and virtualization preferred - Ability to analyze clients environments including existing data center infrastructure, applications, and processes - Strong understanding of data center operations including applications, server, storage, network, database management, ITIL, BC/DR practices, high availability configurations, etc. - Experience or exposure to EMC technology or significant competitor technology (HDS, IBM, VERITAS, etc.) - Exposure to Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery planning; ITIL is a plus - Exposure to recovery strategy planning; implementation is a plus SOFT SKILLS: - Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong presentation skills - Ability to communicate both to technical teams as well as to business users and/or management - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
