RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow defined support procedures in day to day activities. • Acquire basic to advanced knowledge in support of all product solutions assigned to the Middleware team. • Work with users to understand application issues and the associated business impact. • Resolve technical issues within SLA; working with other technical resources to determine root cause, and ensuring relevant communications are delivered to the customer. • Responsible for working independently on team initiatives and tasks. • Recognizing/evolving improved ways of working, processes, products/services. • Working closely with other team members to enhance understanding of processes, tools and the business. • Responsible for maintaining internal relationships with customers as well as development and engineering groups. • Willingness and ability to work non-standard hours; including participation in on-call 24x7 support rotation. • Ability to collaborate with other team members • Able to deliver results under pressure • Comfortable with researching solutions independently • Comfortable working with software vendor support and following up with implementing fixes Minimum Skills required: • Must be a good communicator; documentation and interpersonal skills are a must. • Working knowledge of the following: o Linux RHEL o Windows Desktop, Windows Management tools, Active Directory o Windows Server and Web Servers o Service management experience (preferably Service Now) o Putty o GPG/PGP o SSH • Working knowledge of the following languages: o Scripting language: Perl, Python, PowerShell, DOS, Bash o Object Oriented: Java, C#, Visual Basic • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities for multiple customers. • Flexible enough to work under agile project management methodologies. • Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs, infrastructure and evolving business processes. • Willingness and ability to learn new technology solutions being implemented across the organization. • Understanding of Scrum and Agile principles. • Problem-solving skills, ability to find ways to resolve issues in an expeditious manner. • Must have a clear customer focus – a “can do” attitude in delivering excellence. • Demonstrates innovation, creativity and problem-solving via a thorough knowledge and understanding of the support priorities. • Demonstrate curiosity – asking questions; taking guidance from senior team members and taking ownership for assigned tasks.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
