This person will lead agile development focused on building and supporting new capabilities into our digital payments disbursement platform. This platform provides administrators the ability to manage disbursements and allows payees to collect payments using their preferred payment method (PayPal, Venmo, ACH, Check, Gift Card, Debit Card, Zelle, etc). Summary of essential job functions Provide technical leadership, management, and hands on delivery for an AWS development team. Build and support an application that is highly available and handles high volume payment origination, processing, distribution, and settlement capabilities. Understand, advocate and augment the principles of information technology strategies. Analyze enterprise business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements. Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement. Analyze technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise. "Sell" the architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results. Define the principles to guide solution decisions. Design and lead the implementation of solutions based on enterprise business requirements and IT strategies. Develop a road map of the evolution of applications from current to future state. Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities. Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations. Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the solution architecture to accommodate project needs. Document all solution architecture design and analysis work. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree 5 years of experience in multiple IT areas, to include experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations. Preferred Qualifications Payments/payment processing background in one or more of the following: Paypal, Venmo, ACH, Zelle, TCH RTP, or Bill Payments Experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, AWS CloudTrail, and Amazon QLDB.
