Job Description Specialist: Linear Referencing System Principles And/Or Software., PC Skills, Written And Oral Communication Skills, Data Management Power BI Proval Pathview

Requirement Description This position will function as a highly skilled SS3 with specific responsibilities that include:
1. Processing of roadway characteristic data associated with ODOTs Multi-Subsystem Highway Network data collection vehicle used to manage Ohios Highway System. Duties also include processing of data collected from ODOTs Friction/Skid data collection unit. Duties also include processing of inertial profiles collected on ODOT construction projects with International Roughness Index (IRI) smoothness specifications.
2. Editing of data collected from equipment stated in item one above.
3. Analyzing data for trends that may affect the data quality
4. Establishing and implementing QA/QC processes used to ensure data quality of data collected in the above items.
5. Data Management and archival of collected data associated with ride quality, skid/friction testing, photo imaging, 3-D surface imagery, micro and macro texture data.
6. Spatial Reconciliation with linear referencing system.
7. Serve as a liaison between data collection teams end users of the data.
8. Plan or assist in planning highway network and/or friction data management application enhancements.
9. Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application or Environment team. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
10. Anticipate and resolve issues for the data collection team or end users.
11. Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timelymanner.
12. Identify and track issues, risks and action items.
13. Identify opportunities for new and improved technologies/standards to be used in the Technical Services HIM section.
14. Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades and enhancements, ensuring systems will operate correctly
15. Demonstrate expertise in teaching/conveying technical courses/concepts.
16. Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts in the Technical Services HIM section team.
17. Develop appropriate work programs and use to schedule assignments.

Experience :

• Understanding of ODOTs Road Inventory
• Understanding of Linear Referencing Systems
• ExcellentPCskills.
• Ableto followwrittenandspokeninstructions.
• Abilitytoaccurately analyze,enter and manage data
• Ability to develop and update dashboards for various data related metrics

Mandatory Requirements/Time :

* 5+ years in data management experience
* 2 years experience with ProVAL software
* 2 years experience with Pathview II software
* 2 years experience with ODOTs Road Inventory
* 2 years experience with Linear Referencing Systems
* 1 year experience with Microsoft PowerBI

Desired Skills/Time :

* 2 year college degree or equivalent technical study
