He or she will be responsible for creation, validation, and maintenance of test plans and test cases. Position Details: 70% manual, 30% automation testing (Ruby) Can be seen as contributing as needed to get issues resolved and moving. Contributions could be defining mitigation plans to unblock testing roadblocks and designing business value driven test plan to meet project timelines. Expected to demonstrate performance in three areas: Results – what you do Problem Solving, Sharing and Contributing – how you advance the organization People – how you do it The following outlines the performance expectations (by category): Work with Project team to define Acceptance Criteria and the definition of Done Analyze the application functionality with requirements documents Take ownership to build a professional testing culture Designs test scenarios, scripts and data, then executes the scripts Validates test results and records and researches defects Maps requirements to tests and test results Works closely with Key QA to complete release level test activities Ensure the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled and completed during each iteration Focus on improving the processes to prevent defects Generates and promotes idea generation Promotes an environment of sharing, exploration and collaboration among the practitioner community Leads or contributes to quality or waste elimination initiatives Leads or contributes to delivery improvements Shares best practices with peers through one-on-one contact, hosting or participating in lunch-and-learn events or via written publication   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
