Also important, knowledge or experience with FDA, CGMP Technical leadership to support the build-out of IT systems to support manufacturing facility including ERP, Plant Maintenance, LIMS, document management, PLC, HMI, SCADA, Process Control System (PCS), data warehousing and interfaces between all necessary systems including Building Management systems and highly customized production equipment and inspection and packaging line. Ongoing support of facility for continuous improvement, break fix support. Develop and maintain detailed understanding of business needs and processes, coupled with technical knowledge of system capabilities to recommend and deliver optimum solutions to meet business needs. Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the companys business objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces. Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies. Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts. What is expected at this level: Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects Participates in the development policies and procedures to achieve specific goals Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models Receives guidance on overall project objectives Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Qualifications: Ability to lead and \ or contribute in business process mapping exercises SAP experience a plus with manufacturing and inventory management capabilities Knowledge of relevant package software applications and experience with configuring / implementing package software Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience 8+ years experience in related field preferred Proven leadership ability preferred Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills, proven ability to collaborate in matrixed team environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
