This is a new implementation. This candidate will be working with our development teams and the business units. Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results Work with the business to understand and resolve systems issues Work with development to ensure the development and QA environments match our production environment Develop and implement automated smoke testing to support the devops process Work with the IT and Development to resolve production issues Work with IT and Development to ensure systems meet the needs of the end user Stay up to date with current technologies and technical developments Train end users on the use of our systems Work with Tier I production support personnel in the use of our systems. Soft Skills: Detailed oriented Communication skills and the ability to speak to developers and business units Documentation skills Culture is going to be a big part of this role, so we are looking for someone who is team oriented, self-motivated, and solve issues on their own Data oriented Able to train others Multi-tasking Technical Skills: Linux command line experience / scripting experience SDLC familiarity Oracle experience SQL Selenium or other test suites Analysis - The ability to gather relevant information, reason from cause to effect and generate effective solutions to commercial issues – taking into account variables and implications. Decisiveness – The willingness to make decisions once a situation or problem has been analysed, based upon a judgement of the best solution.
