After 6 months the client will be payroll] [END Client: Pacific Corp] Description: Software Developer Minimum Requirements: * Must desire to transition to full-time employment with PacifiCorp following this engagement. * A minimum of two years of experience with software development and a Bachelors degree in information systems, computer science or a related field. * A minimum of two years of experience in business software application design, development, and/or installation. * A minimum of two years of experience in developing and implementing Microsoft .NET server side technologies including: C#, ASP.NET MVC, F#, ASP.NET Web API. * A minimum of two years of experience using SQL, preferably on Oracle and SQL Server databases and with PL/SQL expertise. * A minimum of two years of experience developing web browser-based software using: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Preferably experience with JQuery, JQuery UI and other JavaScript-based frameworks. * Exposure and experience with version control and build automation, with preference for Team Foundation Server (TFS). * Exposure and experience performing iterative test-driven development, emergent design and continuous integration. * Experience in the industry or in an environment whose scope, size, and complexity are comparable. * Consultative and business analysis aptitude including communication and interpersonal skills that enables understanding of clients needs, define requirements and provide effective solutions. * Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, tools, applications, and vendors. * Strong understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts. * Must work closely with technical and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of requirements/design and provide input from an application perspective. * Must use analytical thinking and information gathering skills to analyze requirements to determine technical design, application coding changes and implementation strategies. * Ability to integrate with existing team on a project that is in-progress, including the ability to interpret code written by others and modify as needed. * Must be resourceful and demonstrate ability to identify, research, and resolve issues independently. * Must be located “on-shore”.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
