In this role, you will work in an implementation role designing emerging M2M & IoT solutions. This individual will work with the engineering staff to define the features and functionality of the IoT product family. This individual will work with an engineering team to design and prototype LoRaWan sensors, gateways and application servers. The primary project will be to design and implement a system to download code to LoRaWan sensors. Responsibilities: • Implement a spooler based code download system based on the LoRaWan IoT system • Prototype software solution on sensor and spooler • Work with vendors to define requirements for downloading code to embedded devices • Work with vendors to productize IoT designs • Test and debug the IoT system • Work with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements, and occasionally interact with customers • Identify and protect intellectual property Qualifications: • 10+ years in R&D, with an emphasis on forward looking designs • 4-year engineering degree from top college/university • Experience with DSMCC, DVB-C or similar object carousel technologies • Experience with embedded systems, including coding in C or JavaScript • Strong organizational and technical skills • Strong programming skills in either embedded systems and/or cloud • Ability to adapt to changing product requirements and manage deadlines • Willingness to travel (up to 10% of time)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
