This is an 8+ month contract position Position: Senior Enterprise Architect Location: Providence, RI Duration: 8+ Month Contract Position Position Description: Our client is a Large Distribution Company located in Providence, RI that is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to fill an 8+ month contract position. Our client is currently working through a large-scale enterprise merger with another Large Distribution Company. This has caused the need for all systems on both sides to be analyzed, documents and then a proper plan to merge technical systems must be created and executed. There are currently 25 major projects on-going for this initiative. These projects cover areas including software applications, IT systems, security, OS, Hardware and more. Our client is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to oversee this long-term merger and integration project. The candidate will be working with the Technical Lead and individual Solution Architects to analyze systems on both sides, document those systems thoroughly and then develop a strategy for how to best integrate all IT systems and applications for both companies. Required Skills: Bachelors Degree or higher with 10+ years of professional experience within Enterprise Architecture Experience managing 5-10+ concurrent projects and overseeing them from an Enterprise Architecture standpoint (the more concurrent projects the better) The breadth of technical knowledge ranging from software application development, testing and deployment to IT systems, security, OS, networking and more is required Experience with enterprise-wide application integration and migration projects Additional Requirements: Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
