This role will be based out of Smithfield, RI or Merrimack, NH. The Systems Services & Support Analyst is a technical contributor position within the Personal, Workplace, and Institutional Services (PWIS) Production Operations group. This position primarily supports Customer Data Strategy Applications, however the position is part of a team supporting multiple applications within the Personal Investing division of PWIS. You will be a member of a team consisting of both onshore and offshore resources providing 24x7, on-call support, incident resolution and change control. The candidate will monitor, troubleshoot and repair application software issues and escalate to senior support technicians as necessary. Take personal ownership for problems and perform follow-ups through to resolution and ensure that solutions are documented. Conduct knowledge transfer to work group and project peers. Adhere to problem management practices that focus on root cause analysis and prevention of future problems. Must Have Skills: 1. The ability to Project Manage 2. Previous Application Support 3. Mainframe system, Distributed systems AND Batch skills Primary Responsibilities: Handle routine problem calls and incident tickets Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and conduct system and application analysis to determine root cause of problems or malfunctions Consult with senior developers and management to direct problems to appropriate resources for resolution Monitor problems to insure final resolution or appropriate hand-off to other teams has been achieved Participate in the teams on-call rotation including daytime, early evening, and occasional weekend support Ability to multi-task and take ownership and responsibility for multiple issues Maintain operation, monitoring and integrity of systems to meet established standards Resolve user issues by reviewing system log information, recreating user errors and testing changes Work closely with developers to install/test fixes and enhancements Application verification/validation of patches, fixes Support ad-hoc request for information and data manipulation   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
