Job Description Analyst: C# (.NET Framework 2.0 And Higher, VB Script, JavaScript (ECMAScript Editions 3/5), T SQL SQL Server 2008

Description:

The purpose of this engagement is to provide the Client with analysis and programming services in support of an existing, web-based, public-facing application that supports the collection and processing of requests for Highway Safety and Justice Programs grant funds.
The application, known as the Grants Management Information System (GMIS), allows subgrantees to submit their grant applications online. Similarly, the GMIS application allows staff members to: 1) evaluate and award the grants electronically, 2) generate acceptance and rejection letters, and 3) modify the verbiage of each grant on an annual basis. The application has been online for over seven (7) years.
The core job duties include analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs. The contractor will complete recurring programming maintenance tasks to prepare the application and the database for each new grant cycle. In addition, the contractor will work closely with staff in the identification and correction of application errors as well as the introduction of new feature enhancements.
