ASAP after posting closes and resumes are received and reviewed Description: SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: Under limited supervision, the employee will work with the server infrastructure team to install, configure, maintain, update and troubleshoot servers and server software. Employee will support the citrix environment and Netscaler. This includes any published applications and assist with end user connectivity when needed. The employee will be expected to work independently and engage their manager when issues need escalation. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: -Maintain, support and patch the Citrix environment including the Netscaler infrastructure. This support is to include working directly with customers in establishing new Citrix applications. -Establish Netscaler rules, assist customers with load balancing behind the Netscaler, including the writing of request and response headers when necessary -Assist in the migration of sites and services that are public facing to be serviced from behind the netscaler REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): -Broad knowledge of multiple technical areas to include but not limited to Citrix XenApp, Citrix Netscaler, Windows server, MS SQL Server. - Proven hands on working experience with Citrix and Netscaler PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): -Ability to communicate (written and verbal) and gather technical requirements from customers. -Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, users, management, vendors and other officials REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: A bachelors degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and 6 yrs. experience in Information Technology or related area. Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis.
