Involved in the installation and support of software packages, upgrades and desktop hardware. Also will be responsible for support of printers, audio visual equipment and devices such as ipads and Chrome books. Will troubleshoot problems submitted by the Tier 1 Help Desk. Documents resolutions and customer communication. May perform end-user training. Strong customer service skills are important in this position. Must share information with other team members and depend on them for uniform resolution of problems. Technician will need basic tools to complete this work and must have a smart phone which will allow them to receive phone calls, emails and text messages. The district has approximately 80 facilities. Technicians will be assigned a geographic zone and will be responsible for their transportation to and from each site.
