Review or create the scope of work for each item (scope of work that will govern the work to be done by cabling and or surveillance/access control vendors). Ensure cabling is installed in accordance with CCSD LAN Cabling Guidelines. Ensure cameras and access control devices are installed in accordance with CCSD Facility Security Regulations. Coordinate scheduled work with cabling/security vendor and construction management. Provide appropriate feedback to vendors, construction management and director. Verify all documentation and test results are received from vendors. Monitor and report progress to ensure work is completed on time. Keep CCSD staff aware of all schedules so technology systems and end of line equipment can be installed appropriately. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON DESIGN CHANGES, COMMUNICATE INFORMATION TO APPROPRIATE DISTRICT STAFF, TRAVEL BETWEEN CONSTRUCTION SITES, Manage on site cabling and security vendors for successful completion of the cabling infrastructure, surveillance and access control systems, and public address systems. Inspect work for quality, communicate with construction firms and district IT staff. Required Skills: * ABILITY TO READ BLUEPRINTS * UNDERSTANDING OF LOW VOLTAGE CABLING STANDARDS * KNOWLEDGEABLE PROJECT MANAGEMENT * GOOD COMMUNICATION - WRITTEN AND ORAL * REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: RCDD - REQUIRED * PMP CERTIFICATIONS - PREFERRED.
