Clemsons MITS team will be responsible for the project management and oversight of this project. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The Automation Engineer responsibilities: • UTILIZE ZEKE TO CREATE NEW EVENT MASTER RECORDS, WORK CENTER EVENTS, DATE CALCULATIONS AND VARIABLES • CONSULT WITH DEVELOPERS AND OTHER TECHNICAL STAFF TO COORDINATE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION BATCH PROCESSING, INCLUDING COORDINATING DEADLINES, MAINFRAME RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS, INPUT FILE REQUIREMENTS, ONLINE AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS • MANAGE INTERFACES BETWEEN APPLICATIONS, PRIORITIZES NIGHTLY BATCH PROCESSING, AND PREPARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATIONS STAFF WITH RUNNING PRODUCTION • TRACK PRODUCTION INCIDIENTS AND WORK WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS FOR RESOLUTIONS. • PROFORM FILE TRANSFERS, DATASET MANAGEMENT, RMM MAINTENANCE, CALENDAR UPDATES AND CREATE EXPENDITURE REPORTS FOR BALANCING • ON-CALL SUPPORT ROTATION • ADHERE TO SECURITY POLICIES AND HIPPA REGULATIONS TO MAINTAIN DATA CONFIDENTIALITY REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): Computer Literacy Basic logic skills Good written and oral communication skills PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): File transfer protocol (FTP, SFTP, etc.) Mainframe/distributed systems experience ZEKE/UC4 experience Batch Scheduling LINUX/OS2 Experience Basic Programming Skills Microsoft Excel REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associates degree or equivalent experience REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: None.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
