Job Description Consultant: API Management, Product Development, Support Assistance, Meta Data Management Data Driven Testing

Description:

1. Provide architecture, integration, product knowledge and expertise, and product usage as well as best practices to support integration with the State Box ECM instance.

2. Provide guidance on design considerations and best practices for implementation of Box APIs.
a. APIs will be exposed through 3Scale API Management and hosted on Red Hat Managed Infrastructure (RHMI).

3. Assess API development efforts to date to tailor guidance and recommendations.

4. Assess current design of folder structure for both external (Citizen, State Partners) and Internal (State Staff) users based on current DHS Engagement Layer design.

5. Assess metadata management approach based on current requirements and stakeholder concerns. Document recommended policies and procedures.

6. Provide guidance and recommendations for Data Driven Interfaces, including but not limited to OCR and text extraction capabilities.

7. Assess setup and current use of Box API service accounts as driven by scaling considerations (i.e. concurrent API calls, rate limits per user, etc.).

8. Provide support through assessment and recommendation for any issue resolution, specifically any existing or new issues related to Box functionality, via managed users or API interface.

9. Assist with defining enterprise approach for document and content management, including workflow for system-generated notifications and forms. Recommend any 3rd Party Products based on requirements.

10. Assist with Content Management Vision for documents, emails, videos, etc.

11. Project management support consisting of the following:
a. Project kickoff meetings with Customer, Consultant and Vendor.
b. Working with the Customer Project Manager to determine the key objectives and schedule for the project.
c. Providing regular briefings on the project status.
d. Monitoring for challenges and recommending corrective action in support of the Services.
i. Acting as an escalation point for issues and helping address conflicts
e. Overseeing management of the Services including:
i. Assisting by monitoring and tracking progress of tasks and providing updates and status information to project teams.
ii. Assisting by providing updates and status information to project teams.
iii. Assisting with development of project plan defining dates, strategy, and process(es).
iv. Hosting status calls weekly, or as needed, to manage project tasks.
v. Assisting with development of documentation.
vi. Assisting Customer peer or sponsor with identifying stakeholders.
f. Assisting with management of the scope change process.
