This Statement of Work (SOW) incorporates by reference the terms and conditions, specifications, and other contract documents of Statewide Contract Number 233. In case of any conflict between this SOW and the Contract, the Contract shall prevail. 1.1 Project Purpose: Tennessee Department of Childrens Services (TNDCS or “State”) is planning for cloud migration of its Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS), Tennessee Family and Child Tracking System (TFACTS). In preparation for cloud migration, TNDCS is required to remove legacy OptimalJ Code to enable the application to be upgraded to the latest version of Java. The first step is to complete an application assessment with a focus on the five modules still containing legacy OptimalJ. This project will assist with understanding the full scope of work needed for final OptimalJ removal. 1.2 Background: The Department of Childrens Services CCWIS, TFACTS, has been in production since 2010. Various modules originally developed by different development teams have led to inconsistent object definition and usage. TFACTS also uses an outdated MDA framework called OptimalJ (OJ), which was discontinued over 11 years ago. It was based on Java, but it only works with Java 7 and earlier and cannot be upgraded to Java 8 or beyond.
