Job Description Administrator: Logical Database Design, Oracle (11), Data Models, SQL Test Environment J2EE IBM Websphere

Description:

The client requires the services ofoneDatabase Administrator, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSACDatabase Administrator 3Category,EmergingTechnology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services(HHSC).
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the HHSC. HHSC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. HHSCwill pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).

Required Skills:


* Full time Logical Database Administration, Database Design & Development, or closely related experience in an enterprise-class environment
* Full time Logical Database Administration / Database Design & Development using Oracle 11 / Oracle 12 databases in an enterprise-class environment.
* Experience must include creating/evaluating/documenting logical & physical data models, developing stored procedures/triggers/scripts/SQL and optimizing/tuning SQL in enterprise-class production & development/test environments.
* Supporting & assisting application development teams in multiple, simultaneous development cycles
* Performing Logical Database Administration / Database Design & Development in support of Java (J2EE) & IBM WebSphere based enterprise applications
* Managing & supporting large (multiple terabyte) Oracle 11/12 databases in enterprise-class production environment
* Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
* Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a closely related field.

Desired Skills:

* Experience with RAC, RAT, Big Data, Golden Gate, ASM, Dataguard, RMAN and similar tools
* Experience with Oracle 11 to Oracle 12 upgrade
