Use Cases Office Professional Plus 2010 Business Systems Architectures Salesforce   Requirement id 17000 Job title Analyst Job location in Austin, TX Skills required Agile Methodology, Project Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Use Cases Office Professional Plus 2010 Open Date 14-Jan-2014 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Agile Methodology, Project Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Use Cases Office Professional Plus 2010 Description: • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. • Act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. • Actively question and challenge customers to understand their requirements and design optimal solutions. • Assist in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms. • Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. • Be a key liaison with business users and technical teams and will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements. • Be a quantitative leader in the IT organization, helping to inform new metrics, which drive the business forward in ways that are consistent with project goals. • Deliver clear written and oral communication with analysts, IT and internal customer teams. • Develops request(s) for proposal (RFP). • Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions. • Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. • Familiar with industry standard (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering. • Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. • Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. • Help the business users understand their current systems processes and take ownership of their work. • Interact with cross-functional teams to deliver project requirements within committed time frames. • Negotiate customer priorities and workload with many internal customers and team members. • Performs a variety of tasks. • Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work. • Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. • Provide clarity and guidance when working with developers to solve technical and analytical issues. • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Reviews; analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. • Understand how various issues affect each other, impacts to other departments and the expected outcome of projects. • Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. • Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Required Skills: * Working knowledge of full life cycle of software development. * Exposure to iterative software development environment (e.g. Agile Methodology) * As a Business Analyst on IT projects dealing with multiple, complex process areas and business groups. * Working knowledge of Office Professional Plus 2010 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook). * Experience developing project plans, process flow diagrams, use case, current/future state diagrams, functional and technical requirements. * Understanding of basic business systems architectures (e.g. Client/Server, distributed, and E-Commerce). * Experienced in both the IT and Business side of solution delivery. * Experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
