All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the CPA. CPA may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. CPA will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). The Worker will participate in a CPA web development team, creating and maintaining cloud-based public and internal web applications. Applications are built using JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular 6+), and a REST API back end built with NodeJs and AWS serverless technologies. The Worker will perform routine programming tasks in an agile environment, including implementing solutions based on user stories and customer designs, and providing technical expertise to the team with design discussions and peer reviews. Worker will provide feedback and contribute expertise to improve applications and development processes. Worker will perform these tasks: • Develop functional and maintainable web applications, websites and components • Write high-quality, reusable code following industry best practices • Develop front-end website interfaces using Angular 6+ (TypeScript) • Develop back-end functionality using AWS Lambda functions written in NodeJs (using TypeScript) • Design and implement database schemas in MySQL and DynamoDB NoSQL • Develop and maintain REST API deployments using the serverless.com framework • Develop front end layouts using Bootstrap and SCSS technologies • Follow best practices for serverless architecture • Participate in peer code reviews • Write unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks • Serve as an advisor on JavaScript development to the team • Review and validate proposed architectural solutions • Participate in project meetings The worker must have strong experience working in a team environment. Onsite Requirements: Worker will be required to work on site with the team. Working remotely will be limited and must be pre-approved by the Direct Supervisor.
