Developer Analyst 2 (Data Developer) role to assist in planning and coordinating continued modernization development activities for the DFPS complex casework management system (IMPACT). The Worker will perform extract, transform and load (ETL); data warehouse development; data administration; and coordinate the planning and analysis of user data requirements, procedures, and problems to automate data processing or improve existing data systems projects focused on continuing modernization activities of existing DFPS Enterprise applications including IMPACT, PEIRS, SSCC, Child Placement Portal, Incentives and Remedies, Community Based Care, and other operational projects as needed. The Worker will also work in concert with various technical leads (e.g., PMO, CTO, and Systems Development Resources) to prioritize assigned work and develop recommendations, options, or alternatives as required. As a Data Developer, the position requires strong knowledge of Data Modeling, ETL, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, Informatica, and PowerCenter. The position requires an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to manage projects against established timelines. This position also requires the ability to learn and apply new technology, work independently or in a team environment, and collaborate with all levels of staff within DFPS to satisfy business needs. The Worker will be responsible for the ETL Development following established standards, quality attributes, and design specifications. The Data Developer role is responsible for the following: • Defining and developing data strategies for flexibility and scalability • Documenting design and standards • Version control WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements: * Experience in Oracle SQL & PLSQL * Working knowledge of data warehouse end-to-end implementation processes, from business requirement logical modeling, physical database design, ETL, end-user tools, database, SQL, performance tuning * Working knowledge of data warehouse Metadata concepts, tools and different data warehouse methodologies * Experience in Informatica PowerCenter * Working Knowledge of Version Control * Technical Documentation including Design Documents and Standards * Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing used when leading development activities, presenting to leadership, and training less experienced developers Preferences: * Experience facilitating productive meetings to formulate business requirements and communicate stakeholder needs to technical staff.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
