They are the middle man that helps shape the roadmap for all projects/programs. Any project that comes in goes to Customer Engagement team first and they work with everyone else like architecture, IT delivery team, Project Management team and they decide what needs to be done to move the project forward. They are looking for a developer to work within their CPQ- Configure Price Quote space. This team owns 15-20 assets and the responsibility is to create roadmaps and work with delivery team on various programs. They might work with US delivery teams and other overseas teams to deliver programs on time. This team is in between the business and other groups to make sure they deliver on time. This team IS NOT development or coding focused anymore, its more strategy and solutions focused. They currently have a System called VISTA and that is based AS400 systems. There are 2 AS400 boxes and the goal of this project is to consolidate those 2 boxes into 1 box. They speak using MQ. In the first box they put messages into MQ. We are looking to consolidate so the queuing mechanisms will change. Once changes are done, this consultant will need to stay until MTP (move to production). Primary Skills : - Must have IBM MQ Experience - Must have AS400 experience - Would be nice to have MQ experience within Windows - .NET experience is good to have (b/c in this area, there are diff boxes (primary IBM) and it talks to other windows environments where there are .net applications running in the environment. But fundamental is IBM MQ, AS400.
