All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the TXDOT. TXDOT may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TXDOT will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). The role of each PM is to apply IT project management and vendor management expertise in the completion of several waterfall projects of various size and complexity. The PM is to work alongside other PMs and be assigned projects from TxDOTs portfolio of transformational application, infrastructure, and security projects. This is a sole contributor role in a highly collaborative environment, responsible for driving high quality results with vendors and stakeholders of TxDOT, one of the States largest agencies. This is an evolving role in a changing environment. The role is responsible for completing other projects and tasks as assigned and for adhering to TxDOT and IMDs processes and standards. Skills/Experience: Demonstrated expertise and experience in all aspects of IT project management – including but not limited to completing and managing: statements of work, procurements, business cases, solution delivery, project closes, and reporting on overall project progress. Highly competent applying project management theories and practices to complex, cross- enterprise IT initiatives with more than 1,000 stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in delivering project scope on time, within budget, and to the specified level of quality. Demonstrated expertise in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and organizational benefits. Experience in one or more of the following: Transformational, COTS solutions, packaged applications, custom application development, infrastructure, and security projects. Expert skills in oral and written communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
