Candidate will be responsible for diagnosis, consultation, and repair of IVR issues. He or she will be a broad knowledge in Genesys CTI, SIP/VoIP phones, call recording and desktop applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong IT background with a broad knowledge of Genesys Telecom experience, be personable and enjoy working directly with end-users, and have a track record of resolving complex technical issues under tight deadlines in a production environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Support and maintenance of Genesys 7.x/8.1 framework (including GVP). Troubleshooting end-to-end call flow * Understanding the strategies for the IVR and the ability to make changes based on Business requirements * Creation and maintenance of Real-time and Historical reports * Performing regular health checks and monitoring of all environments * Providing regular on-call support of the IVR environment as required * Understanding technical problems and solutions in relation to the current environment * Leveraging both telephony solutions and business process improvements * Maintaining documentation * New call application deployment and testing * Routine server maintenance * Log file retrieval * Database monitoring * Mentoring Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Resolve issues that impact the team and overall business objectives * Assist IT Management with the preparation and administration of business plans and metrics * Provide technical leadership and direction as it relates to architecture, design and implementation of applications * Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software for Genesys IVR applications * Proactively monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels * Create SDLC documentation and ensure alignment to overall SDLC and Change Management processes Qualifications and experience: Essential: * Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field required * 2-3 years increasingly responsible systems and administration design and support experience required * Ability to convert project requirements into logical sequence of tasks through delivery of the successful project * Experience with multi-site configurations in system engineering and administration role preferred * Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio required * In-depth knowledge of TDM and VoIP audio and videoconferencing environments * Security Management/Compliance * 2-5 years of overall experience in telecommunications, IVR development (Genesys Studio and Composer), CTI products and Call Center Technology. * Experience with the Genesys suite of products in the installation, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, Inbound, Outbound, Routing and Historical reporting (CCA, CCPulse+) for traditional telephony (v7) as well as SIP based (v8) environments, VHT, GVP 8.1. * Also experienced with Call Center Technology, PBX and MSL Switches in conjunction with Genesys Suite of Products. * Experienced with VXML tools required, Voice Objects experience preferred. * Experienced in all phases of project life-cycle development, from gathering business requirements and coding to client delivery and providing support with proven ability to   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
