Primary Responsibilities - Build scalable solutions for Java applications/REST based API solution - Liaise between local project team and offshore development teams. i.e. ensureing offshore team is meeting development expectations. - Lead the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible - Write concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of complex business requirements - Define, maintain and support development environment while adopting industry best practices and tools - Help coordinate the delivery of technical components across internal/external technical teams. - Provide technical leadership to more junior team members of the team Qualifications - 10+ Years Application development experience using Java, Spring Boot framework - Experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON - 5+ Years JMS/MQ - 5+ Years CI/CD tools such as Maven, Git/Stash, Jenkins, Nexus, uDeploy, Docker etc. - Relational Database (Oracle/DB2) - Experience on Cloud architecture and cloud services (Docker, Cloud PaaS and orchestration services) an asset - Experience with mainframe an asset Skills and Knowledge: - Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM, Extreme Programming, TDD etc. - Strong verbal and written communications, must be able to actively engage other team members - Understanding of Agile systems development techniques utilizing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
