Effort by our internal IT staff has made progress toward achieving this requirement; including upgrading the databases and migrating the customized sites. During our upgrade work we have encountered various issues and have had questions arise that we feel are outside of our current level of knowledge. As such we are looking to contract with a SharePoint Administrator or knowledgeable individual/firm to help complete the upgrade and to consult on SharePoint questions. Requirements URS is looking for the following to be completed by the SharePoint consultant: • Configuration of the search service application, • Configuration of the new SharePoint workflow engine, • Configuration of managed metadata service, • Review of the user profile search configuration for correctness and efficiency, • Consultation on SharePoint Governance including roles and responsibilities for server admins, site collections, admins and end user content owners, • Consultation on current architecture with an emphasis on security and privacy, • Guidance and recommendations on leveraging the features available in SharePoint 2016, • Guidance and recommendations on development of custom features/sites, • Recommendations for products or tools that would aid in the governance/administration of SharePoint 2016. • Mentoring and instructing URS IT staff on SharePoint administration and development. • Complete documentation of all work performed, and all guidance and recommendations provided This list is not exhaustive, and we expect to have additional needs for assistance as currently unrecognized questions or issues come up as we work through the above.
