Applies infrastructure, application and data center project management expertise and knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within the established project guidelines of DXC and recommends appropriate alternatives in collaboration with the Delivery Team. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices of the Account and Client to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. Responsibilities 1. Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for optimal execution of projects 2. Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget 3. Interact with employees, DXC staff and third party vendors to effectively initiate and/or move projects to successful implementation 4. Perform risk management and report/escalate issues to management as needed 5. Able to support the 24x7 business operations and be available onsite during business hours 6. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients 7. Provides performance review input and indication of area of development for team members Qualifications: 1. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of processes and methodologies applicable to technical project management 2. Excellent client facing and interpersonal communication and relationship building experience 3. Detail oriented and proficient in managing projects in a fast-paced environment 4. Desire to learn and react quickly to changing environment while working across multiple platforms 5. Candidates with technical management certification/credentials will be given preference Education and Experience 5. First Level University degree. Preferably in the fields of Computer Science and/or Engineering 6. Masters degree and/or advanced continuing technical education, training and certifications are a plus 7. Some experience in technical and architecture management or in like roles/businesses 8.
