Job Description Developer: Adobe Flex 4, Adobe Flash 4, ESRI ArcGIS API For Flex, GIS

[NOTE:Contract must be completed by 4/1/11]

VITA is seeking a developer to assist with Broadband Mapping application development work in Adobe Flex. The candidate should be well versed in Adobe Flex/Flash development including Flex 4 and Flash Builder 4. Online samples of work and code samples will be requested for analysis prior to an offer being made. The candidate should be skilled with using graphic and photo editing tools to produce needed content for the application. Since the products will be mapping based applications using the ESRI ArcGIS API for Flex, experience with using the ArcGIS API for Flex is desirable as well as with the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. Candidates should be skilled with using and consuming web services in their Flex applications. Knowledge of GIS and geographic concepts is most desirable for the candidate to be maximally productive in the short time available.
