Incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate Information Assurance certifications in accordance with DODI 8750.1M/8140; • Security +/WIN10/VMWare and Active Directory Knowledge, A+, MS Server 2012, Cisco Call Manager, Print Service Management • Pays attention to detail, has the ability to identify and resolve problems and recommend solution. • Has the ability produce and provide written and oral communication to management, customers • Assist network enterprise user in effective application of network capabilities providing on-site/remote customer service support as needed. • Provide IT knowledge transfer to co-workers/peers to ensure transparency of system root cause and recommended best practice resolution techniques. • Analyzing, identifying, troubleshooting, implementing and deploying repairing solutions for hardware and software systems with minimum service impacts • Wiliness to work with other as a team member, train peers, and transfer knowledge for the good of the mission. • Configuring and installing operating system software, patches, upgrades and system modification as required to meet AR25-1 standards • Two year of Army Enterprise Active Directory, Microsoft Server environment knowledge 6. Security Requirements. Personnel providing support for the JFHQ-NCR will hold a minimum of a SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP Secret security clearance. System Administrator (SA Level 2). Serves as the Information Technology Specialist, performs Systems Administrator duties with responsibilities for planning, and coordinating the installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software to support MAJCOM and subordinate units. Provide technical advice to senior leadership and technical assistance and training to unit personnel. Analyze processes and problems relative to the design of systems. Identifies system problems that are of an unusual or complex nature and develops corrective action. Design data products, processes of programs that enhance functional area management and provide for increased organizational optimization of Information Technology (IT) processes. Oversees the installation and configuration of applications software and the establishment of user environments. Troubleshoots malfunctions to resolve physical and logical processing problems and recommends acquisition of equipment; software/ hardware which will resolve operational problems. Continually monitors/surveys systems operation to identify and anticipate potential problems which could lead to system integrity loss or serious service interruption. Identifies corrective or preventative procedures. Takes actions to rectify immediate problems and prevent future occurrences.
