Job Description Administrator: DB2 UDB/LUW Database Administration, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Automation Performance Tuning

looking for a UDB DB2 DBA (some exposure/experience with Oracle Database is nice to have) for a contract position with one of our leading clients in McLean, VA - CANDIDATES MUST BE EAD/GC or US CITIZENS.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
* 10+ years of experience in administering DB2 UDB (ESE, AESE, WSE) on LUW platform.

* Strong experience on Multi-Partitioned DB2 UDB (EEE/DPF) database systems.

* Experience on setting up SQL/Q Replication environments

* Implementation of DB2 HADR including installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

* Good amount of experience on Unix Shell scripting and automation

* Desired knowledge on Oracle database administration.

* Hands-on experience on day to day production support on DB2 UDB Database Administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, etc.

* Able to script and automate database operational processes.
