Job Description Engineer: Windows 7, Windows 8, WINDOWS SERVER 2003/2008/2012, VM Ware Active Directory DNSDHCP GPO Net

Description:

The Client is seeking an experienced server engineer to assist in the daily management of the agency managed Windows based server, application and client resources in a AD environment.


Required Skills:

* Experience installing, configuring and supporting Windows 7/ 8, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and associated software - both physical and VM
* Previous experiencing supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and RAS.
* Support of server based antivirus and network monitoring systems such as SAV and WhatsUp
* Experience with MS Office - MS Word, Excel, Visio and Project. Must be able to prepare technical documentation using these and other tools
* Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues from client software/device through to ISP
* Strong presence, professional image, and ability to deal confidently with technical matters.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, with occasional work outside of regular hours



Desired Skills:

* Experience in a laboratory environment
* Avaya/Nortel and/or Cisco switch/router configuration experience
* Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience
