This resource will work with new Azure technologies and platforms. Resource will perform all development activities within the defined parameters adhering to DW Architecture guidelines. A. PURPOSE AND GOALS • This resource will be a team member of the Data Warehouse team developing and providing development/production support in addition to enhancing existing data assets and ETL processes. • Once this project has been completed, WAHBE will have an operational Data Warehouse PROJECT-SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE List experience, qualifications, credentials, certifications, etc. that are specific to the project. • Required o Knowledge of Azure Data Warehouse environment (data factory, data blob, etc.) o Experience in Data Warehousing, ETL Architecture o Expert level code management and deployment o Moderate level data knowledge and analysis, inclined to learn Quickly o Experience with data platforms such as Oracle, SQL o Experience with one or more data and reporting tools such as SSRS, PowerBi o Exposure to Cloud technologies (e.g. Azure) o Able to communicate with clarity and precision DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop DW ETL script using SQL to load data to data marts. Extensive use of trigger, store procedures and functions • Cleanse the source data, extract and transform data with business rules from Oracle • Fix invalid mappings, performance tuning, testing of Store procedure, functions and the target data • Involve in database design, planning, implementation of entity relationship modeling and dimensional modeling using Star and Snowflake schemas • Tuning Mappings and sessions for better performance and debugging of existing ETL processes • Work with server and network team on designing and implanting data system architect • Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign and development of new process • Work with DW team to create ETL CDC (Capture Data Change) mechanism • Develop metrics and reporting that help provide data for critical decision making • Ability to work with large amounts of data and find conclusions with attention to detail • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ad-hoc/ongoing reports and dashboards • Analyze complex data and extract valuable insights in a compelling summarized view to present to management • Prepare ad-hoc management reports, research and analysis • Develop and implement databases, data collecting systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Using a strong understanding of database methodology, data analysis, advanced SQL queries, ETL and business intelligence applications, the analyst will design query, develop reports using SSRS or PowerBI based on business requirements and deliverables for management • Model data using SQL and/or other data warehouse analytical tools • Responsible for all DW applications and scheduled jobs to ensure they are all successfully executed • Assist with data collection, analysis, and summarization   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
