Business Process Mapping The consultant shall provide expertise in the modeling/mapping of current business processes, conduct as-is / to-be business process analysis and document these processes for the project sponsor. 2. Requirements Analysis The consultant shall work collaboratively with the Project Manager and stakeholders to identify business and technical requirements. 3. Feasibility The consultant shall provide expertise in the analysis of how realistic the requirements are in terms of effort, time and costs. 4. Data The consultant shall work collaboratively with the Project Manager, stakeholders and the agency Data Architect to identify what data the business currently has, what data should be carried over to the new system and new data elements required by the system, if any. 5. Techniques The consultant shall be able to assemble, analyze and evaluate data and make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations to support the business stakeholders and the project team. 6. Project Task Management and Billing Work tasks under this contract may be preplanned and scheduled, or could be of an emergency nature. The consultant must be available for work on site in Olympia. The consultant will take overall direction on tasks from the WDFW project manager. The consultant will only work on specific tasks defined and assigned by the WDFW project manager and only with prior approval by the WDFW project manager. The consultant therefore will only be paid for work hours on actual tasks as defined by the WDFW project manager. No other unauthorized costs including standby, on-call or retainer costs, or assignments for other WDFW staff will be paid. The consultant will be paid on an hourly basis for work on Business Analyst tasks. Billings will be sent on a monthly basis to the WDFW project manager, identifying the work by task. The consultants hourly rate will be inclusive of all costs. No additional costs for travel, lodging, per diem, etc. will be allowed unless required by WDFW to travel to locations outside of King, Pierce and Thurston Counties. Travel costs, if any, will be reimbursed at current Washington State approved travel rates. 7. Deliverables In addition to the following deliverables, the consultant shall present the results of the analysis, along with a project plan, to key executive sponsors for approval. The final business analyses shall include, but not be limited to the following: • Vision Document including Problem Statement • Stakeholders and Interests Table • Project Objectives and Major Features • Business Impact Analysis • Risk Analysis • Document As-Is Business Processes and Workflows • Document To-Be Business Processes and Workflows • Data Flow Diagrams • User Profiles (direct and indirect users of the system(s)) • Functional and Non-functional Requirements • Business Rules • Data Dictionaries • Use Cases   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
