This online marketplace allows users to compare and enroll in health insurance coverage and gain access to tax credits, reduced cost sharing and public programs such as Medicaid. Responsible for the planning and engineering of HealthPlanFinder (HPF) systems infrastructure. Includes the design and implementation of hardware and software. Ensures that hardware and/or software are designed, installed and performing in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Manages the daily operations and maintenance of the HPF infrastructure. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Identifies and understands new technologies and recommends them when applicable. The System Engineer III participates in planned downtimes for system upgrades and maintenance activities as well as an on-call rotation for after-hours support. Also responsible for the ITIL functions such as Performance and Capacity Management as well as assisting with Configuration Management. This position is required to deliver annual Service Organization Control (SOC) reports as required for auditing purposes. The position reports to the IT Process Manager and must establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels in the Exchange, state agencies, vendors and agents, and others. The Exchange operates in a high-availability environment including cloud-based components and remote data centers. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for others in monitoring. Required Skills: * Bachelors Degree in information technology, computer science, or technology related field AND three (3) years of IT related industry experience. * Qualifying experience may substitute year for year for education. * At least 3 years of experience administering cloud based enterprise applications, certification preferred. * At least 3 years of enterprise infrastructure management experience. * Requires experience and expertise in network administration, server administration, and business analysis. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong client-service orientation. * Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. * Strong problem solving skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow-through on issues in a timely manner. * Motivated self-starter with initiative to take independent action and accept responsibility for your actions. * Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients, vendors, diverse populations, stakeholder groups, and customers. * Well organized, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with strong attention to detail.
