The Department also registers about 9,000 pet foods and specialty pet foods distributed by aproximately 600 registrants. In addition, both licensees and registrants are required to submit Inspection Fee Reports twice a year reporting the amount of product they distributed in Washington during the previous six months along with the required fees. *Work Requirements: *The Project Manager will define, manage, and meet program, management and project team expecations. Use and apply project management best practices, as well as use appropriate methods and/ or tools to create work beakdown structures, define project phases, activities, tasks and deliverables of the CFIS Project. Provide project status reports and executive sponsor briefings. *Make project assignments, provide leadership to the project team, manage project scope and ensuring the quality of the project deliverables. Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure the project is completed within estimated hours, established completion dates and approved budget. *Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include: *Serve as interface between CFIS vendor and staff working at WSDA / OCO *Work with the CFIS vendor to develop a Project Plan and Statement of Work *Work with CFIS vendor to schedule the on-site activities (e.g., kick-off meeting, analysis work, training, etc.) of the Project at the WSDA location *Help resolve Project issues and escalate issues within the WSDA organization, as necessary *Administer Project Change Control *Review the accomplishments and deliverables of the CFIS vendor *Draft and distribute Project Status Reports *Deliverables: *Develop a work plan for configuration / development, testing, training and implementation of the CFIS. *Prepare and update, as needed, an Issues Log for the CFIS Project. *Make presentations to Executive Staff within the Division on CFIS Project status. *Provide Project Status Reports, such as for Food Safety & Consumer Services Monthly Reports, at specified intervals throughout the life of the Project.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
