Theyll sit on a mixed team of partner and non-partners. · Potential for extension/ conversion will depend on the organization – the hiring manager views this as an opportunity · The team is in charge of Microsoft Reporting online and is working to bridge a gap between data engineering and reporting. · Theyre about to close out the Projects Online Portfolio piece and getting the Continuous Delivery project up and running. · Project portfolio, resource budgets, resources roll outs that sort of thing · SQL and no data back ends Typical Day in the Role · Basically this CW will be working on report and development suites for various business units and providing data driven process automation · Work with data engineering team to build and support non-interactive (batch, distributed) & real-time, highly available data, data pipeline and technology capabilities · Translate strategic requirements into business requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs · Work with infrastructure provisioning & configuration tools to develop scripts to automate deployment of physical and virtual environments; to develop tools to monitor usage of virtual resources. · Define & implement data retention policies and procedures · Define & implement data governance policies and procedures · Identify improvements in team coding standards and help in implementation of the improvements. · Leverage subject matter expertise to coordinate issue resolution efforts across peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors · Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems and projects · Perform systems and applications performance characterization and trade-off studies through analysis and simulation · Perform root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues Compelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition · Project Online Portfolio Analytics & Project Plus Continuous Delivery · Flexible working hours – core hours 10-2 (3X week in office and has opportunity for flexibility to WFH) for main project team.
