Description :

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Develops RFPs. Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Position Title: Business Automation Consultant/Administrator

Project Description:

Services to be performed include acting as business analyst to facilitate, elicit, document, and validate the business requirements for the takeover and enhancement of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and fiscal agent contract.
• General skills and experience:
o Excellent interpersonal communication skills
o Excellent organization and time management skills
o Providing detailed status report updates to Project Manager
o Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective
o Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping, and reengineering
• Facilitation
o Efficiently plan and execute meetings
o Establish agenda and set meeting objectives
o Document and distribute meeting decisions and action items
o Timely follow-up on all action items
o Document issues and providing to Project Manager
o Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
o Prepare Risk Identification
o Prepare Fiscal Analysis (i.e. cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build)
o Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Elicitation
o Efficiently and effectively divine business requirements from business area staff
• Documentation
o Use established business requirement templates
o Produce clear and concise requirements documentation
o Create traceability to RFP requirements
o Prepare solution options
• Validation
o Effectively and efficiently review and validate documented business requirements with business area staff and owners
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs

Qualifications:

Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
