Description : Candidate must be an expert in understanding the functional and technical capabilities of the PeopleSoft General Ledger module and Grants Suite. Our institution currently uses many of the PeopleSoft Financials modules including Grants, AP/PO and General Ledger modules, therefore this engagement will require knowledge of the interfaces between these modules as well as others within PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain V9.2. Will provide options of how to transfer data between Business Units in PeopleSoft with little to no customization if possible, including options on Reporting. These options will become the foundation for the data transfer from the UW-Extension Business Unit to UW-System Administration and UW-Madison Business Units. Project Scope: PeopleSoft Financials (SFS) is the University of Wisconsin Systems Financial system using Oracles PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management software 9.2 using PeopleTools 8.55 on Oracle 12.2. The goal is to provide the University of Wisconsin with a strategy to transfer data from UW-Extension, a part of the Colleges/Extension Restructure, without system customizations and minimizing the risk of data corruption. This position is for a PeopleSoft functional expert to help UW / UWSA clarify its data transfer strategy within the SFS system and associated business practices. Goal of Engagement: 1. Review current strategy for Financial transition (both data and system functionality) from UW-Extension to UWSA/UW-Madison 2. Evaluate strategy against functionality within Shared Financial System (SFS), a PeopleSoft 9.2 instance. 3. Create strategy based on system limitations for the integrated and highly customized SFS. 4. Assist in executing strategy to complete the Restructure. The consultant will complete the project in conjunction with UW and UWSA personnel. Requirement: Must be able to travel to the University of Wisconsin and UW System Administration in Madison, WI.
