Description : We are seeking one Senior Web Designer that can work alongside our software application team to achieve our goals. The ideal candidate for this position needs to be a hands-on professional with a strong knowledge of content management platforms, and an ability to translate the business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our websites influence at Madison College. This position will be responsible for helping with the updating of our current online applications. We are looking for: • One back-end developer who will primarily be responsible for back-end/module development. The back-end developer would be someone who would be able to write custom Drupal 9 modules. They would be able to port the existing integrations and add to them as needed. These initiatives require the candidate to operate somewhat independently, think critically and align to our vision/mission and follow-through on solutions to completion. Having worked on website design projects for an educational institution in the past is a HUGE plus! Skills: Back-end developer • Experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment • Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture • Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as Views, Workbench, and Webform. • Experience creating custom Drupal modules (preference of Drupal 8/9 knowledge) • Knowledge of the Drupal theme layer • Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs. • Experience with Git as a version control system Education and Qualifications: • Designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques. • Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, seasonal content specials and custom chat launcher design for partners. • 4-6 years of experience. • Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of complicated tasks. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
