Description : The Applications Development Team is responsible for enterprise architecture, development, system testing, analysis, and maintenance of systems that captureand report data. This includes but is not limited to applications that focus on finance, budget, and data collection and reporting applications that satisfy the needs of Wisconsins K12 education systems. These systems require extensive knowledge and experience developing complex applications, reports, and relational databases. This position is responsible for leading and coachinga scrum team on to use agile practices and principals to deliver high quality products and services for our external customers (state schools and districts) and internal customers (DPI users). This position will facilitatethe execution and delivery of well-defined software releases using the scrum framework, including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives. This position will work with scrum team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making. This position will resolve team impediments with other scrum masters,improving the effectiveness of the scum at scale framework in the agency.This position will be responsible in maintaining a healthy product backlog, planning all releases of the system, and documenting system dependencies. This position will work with and serve as a liaison between IT Teams, management and business units within DPI and external vendors to identify and analyze opportunities for improving processes and business systems. This position will also serve as a team member by perform quality assurance tasks and product customer support when needed. Under the general supervision of the Applications Development Team manager, this person will work closely with others to accomplish project objectives, or function independently to accomplish daily work requirements as a member of the Applications Development Team. Objectives, priorities, and deadlines are established in consultation with the department program area leaders, project managers, and the Applications Development Team manager. Required Skills: ? Minimum 2-5 years experience using Agile/Scrum Development Methodology with CSM Certifications ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Demonstrates experience facilitating meetings and an understanding of facilitation techniques ? Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently within established guidelines ? Process a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies ? Experience writing user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria ? Ability to perform application and system regression tests ?
